This syrup is made from the charred bark of the Shagbark Hickory Tree. It can be used in place of Maple Syrup or a great addition to marinades, sauces, glazes and even cocktails. This syrup has a very unique smokey, earthy, nutty and sweet flavor. Its not just handcrafted, its wildcrafted from our small farm right here in the foothills of the Catskills.
